***Feature varies by house.
The University does not assign roommates. However, you may have a roommate if you desire. For your assistance, the Housing Office does maintain a listing service for students looking for roommates. Roommates must also be UTA students or receive approval from the Assistant Director of Housing. In the case of married students, either the husband or the wife must be a student at UTA. UTA apartments are leased to only one person and that person is responsible for the rent. Roommates are only listed as additional occupants. There may be no more that two residents per bedroom unless there is a child under 13 years old.
Only fish are allowed in university apartments and houses.
A $150 security deposit and prorated rent are due with the apartment or house lease.
Please call (817) 272-2791 or come by the Housing Office located in the
E.H. Hereford University Center at 300 W. First Street - Arlington, TX 76019.
