Roommates in UTA Residence Halls
Meeting other students is one of the greatest assets of living in a residence hall. You can either select your own roommate or we will try to help you find one with similar interests and lifestyle. If you select your own roommate, you both need to request the same hall and each other, and contract for the same type of room. UTA Housing does not guarantee roommate matching process.
Cooking in UTA Residence Halls
Each residence hall has a small community kitchen, available to all residents. You may also purchase a Dining Services meal plan. Microwave cooking is allowed in rooms. However, hot plates, electric skillets, coffee pots, toaster ovens, or other appliances are not allowed. Residents may also bring or rent a refrigerator. Refrigerators may not exceed 4.3 cubic feet and are limited to one per room.
